The Windy City

Being from a small town, cities are always top on my travel list. So, deciding where to travel next I knew I had to hit up Chicago.

Touristy Things:
As soon as I arrived my first stop was the famous Bean, having never traveled to Chicago I had no idea why it was so popular. After seeing the mirror magic, I now understand why it is a hot stop. The Bean is next to an adorable flower garden with a great city view making irresistible to not take a stroll in. Next, I was dying to see the Chicago Theater sign at night, so we walked and walked until we stumbled upon it. It was definitely an Intsa worthy spot.

Sorry for the dirty mirror pic,
this time it's not my fault

Shop Till Ya Drop:

Let me just tell you, Chicago's shopping street is not called Magnificent Mile for nothing. The next day we decide to walk up Michigan Avenue, of course, while making some pit stops.

          Hidden Gems:
Next to the Bean is an art museum, which we didn't stay long in however we did see some of Jeff Koons famous Balloon Animals that I thought was actually pretty cool. Somewhere along with all the walking we did, I ran into this painting, so of course, I hopped in front to snap a photo. Once we dropped from shopping we headed into The Second City comedy show, to watch some of the funniest improvisers. Make sure to stop by the Navy Pier for rows of restaurants, a Ferris wheel ride, and a potential boat ride!
See it's super cute

Good Eats:
To this day I still talk about the pasta from RPM Italian, seriously the best I've had. However, if you're looking for some good food with a view I recommend The Signature Room, head up the 97th floor at least a 180 view!
